Trypsin EDTA is a porcine pancreas-derived enzyme that is commonly used for the dissociation and disaggregation of anchorage-dependent mammalian cells and tissues. The concentration of Trypsin necessary to remove cells from their substrate depends on the sensitivity of the cells.
