Optimised 3-Color Antibody Mixtures for EV Phenotyping by Flow Cytometry

ExoBrite™ CD9/CD63/CD81 3-Color Antibody Cocktails are pre-optimised antibody mixtures designed for fast and reliable phenotyping of extracellular vesicles (EVs) by flow cytometry.

Each cocktail combines the three most widely used EV tetraspanin markers—CD9, CD63, and CD81—into a cost-effective mixture formulated for optimal brightness, low aggregation, and high signal-to-noise. By eliminating the need for antibody optimisation, these cocktails enable researchers to obtain reproducible EV profiling results more quickly.

Two formulations are available: Blue/Green/Far-Red and Green/Orange/Far-Red, supporting flexible panel design while preserving additional flow cytometry channels for multi-target analysis.

Proven Performance

SEC-purified HEK 293-derived EVs were stained with ExoBrite™ CD9/CD63/CD81 3-Color Antibody Cocktail (Blue/Green/Far-Red) and clear staining was seen in all 3 channels (top row). The same antibody cocktail was run in PBS, and very few aggregates are seen (bottom row). Staining was detected in the V450 (Pacific Blue), B525 (FITC), and R660 (APC) channels.
