The detergent-based formulation achieves complete EV lysis within 20 minutes, while EDTA chelates metal ions to reduce protein degradation. It contains no added protein components, helping to preserve EV purity for sensitive downstream applications. For best performance, add protease and phosphatase inhibitors immediately prior to use.
