High-Yield, High-Integrity RNA Extraction from FFPE Samples with CAT5™ Technology

RNA extraction from FFPE (formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded) tissue is notoriously difficult, often yielding fragmented, low-quality RNA unsuitable for downstream applications. The CELLDATA RNAstorm™ 2.0 FFPE RNA Extraction Kit overcomes these challenges with proprietary CAT5™ technology, which reverses formaldehyde crosslinking under mild conditions to release RNA of higher integrity.

Compared to other FFPE RNA extraction methods, RNAstorm™ 2.0 delivers 3- to 30-fold higher RNA yields and significantly improves RNA integrity, as reflected by a 2-fold increase in DV200 (% RNA >200 nt). The result is RNA that is more amplifiable and better suited for downstream workflows such as RNA-seq, qPCR, microarray, and gene expression analysis.
